Cupping is a form of alternative medicine that involves the use of specialized cups to create a suction to the skin. It lifts underlying soft tissues to bring more blood flow to an area, and promote healing. Great for arthritis, myofacial pain, soreness, and fibromyalgia. Cups are applied in a stationary fashion to specific areas of concern during your massage.

Cups are suctioned to the area(s) of the body needing extra attention. Your therapist will then use special gliding techniques with the cups and active stretching techniques to improve soft tissue mobility, myofascial release, decrease pain, and increase range of motion.

Stretching in massage uses different stretch techniques (active, passive, and resistive) to elongate the muscles, fascia, and tendons to bring circulation to those problem area. Improving it’s range of motion, flexibility and release of tension.
